The principal and staff of the college would like to congratulate Nicole Kerr for achieving the 2011 Beazley Medal for Vocational Education and Training. This award is a fantastic reward for the hard work and dedication to study made by Nicole.
Woodvale SC student Nicole Kerr has been awarded the prestigious Beazley Medal for being WA’s highest achieving VET student for 2011.
In addition to completing four Stage 3 Courses and achieving an ATAR above 90, Nicole completed a Certificate III in Business and a Certificate II in Hospitality.

Nicole attributed much of her success to her organisational abilities; “My secret was just to stay organised – if a test was coming up, I made sure I knew what day it was going to be on and worked out how I would study for it.”
Nicole is planning to got to UWA to study commerce in 2012.
