COORDINATORS:

Mrs Tara Zekovic-Bosnjak

It is with great pride that I am representing the Year 12 student body at Woodvale Secondary College for 2016. I have been in the field of education since 1995 commencing my teaching practice in the Goldfields and then moving to a position at Woodvale in 1998.

As both a parent and teacher I actively promote the right of every student to succeed in all aspects of their education. I recognise the importance of making a smooth transition into secondary education for students and I will strive to make this a reality for all students. I will implement strategies to foster and maintain students’ enthusiasm for learning through open communication and developing a positive rapport.

I look forward to getting to know the students and parents of the Woodvale Secondary College community.

Ms Kathy Jarvis Spinks

As one of the Year 12 Coordinators at Woodvale Secondary College I would like to extend a warm welcome to the parents and students of the Year 12 Cohort. I have now been teaching at Woodvale Secondary College for eight years and feel honoured and privileged to be in a primary position within the college to support the progress of the Year 11 students. My teaching expertise is in the area of English; a subject I believe plays a pivotal role in providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed, not just in their education, but also in many other areas of life.

Pastoral care of every student is a primary focus of my role as a Year Coordinator and I will work to ensure each student has a positive and rewarding time while they are a part of the Woodvale Secondary College community. I will endeavour to encourage and support every Year 12 student to develop into a responsible, respectful young adult who can confidently foster positive relationships with others.
