Woodvale Walk Fundraiser

On Wednesday 25 October, over 100 students from Year 9 and Year 10 participated in the College’s first Woodvale Walk to raise money for the WISH Animal Rescue charity.

Some students wore fancy dress whilst meandering around the oval while others aimed to complete as many laps of the oval as possible during the given time. Regardless of their personal goal, it is fair to say that all students enjoyed the afternoon in the sun, listening to music and being squirted by water guns and bubbles along the way.

Awards were presented for best costume, most enthusiastic walker, greatest amount of money raised and most number of laps completed. Gift vouchers were awarded to the winning students.

We would like to thank all staff and students who participated in the event, particularly the Student Councillors who cooked sausages for the sausage sizzle, promoted the event to students and participated in the event to make it so successful. We are yet to finalise the amount raised, however will post that information when confirmed. We hope to see many more students participate in future fundraising events!

Thank you again to all those involved
