BACKGROUND:
Woodvale
Secondary College was accredited with International school status in
late 2006, which enables the school to enrol International Fee Paying
Students from all over the world.
Since this time, the school has implemented changes to cater for the
academic, social and emotional needs of international students. It also
makes a firm commitment to continue to do this in response to the
growing needs of all students from all cultural backgrounds and to
pursue a key ethos of the school: to celebrate diversity.
AIMS OF THE PROGRAM:
- Accelerate English language learning.
- Provide a positive learning environment for international students in all subject areas.
- Facilitate the social and emotional development of international students.
- Assist international students in their orientation to Australian culture.
- Enhance the broad educational needs and personal development of the rest of the student population through close interaction and integration with international students.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Students on 571 visa subclass
need to apply through Western Australia’s Education and Training

Students on other eligible visa
subclasses, such as 572 or 676, need to apply through contacting the
International Students’ Coordinator and may be enrolled at the
Principal’s discretion on a full-fee paying basis:
