Up one level- Newsflash: International Program
- Our International Program has been gradually building since its beginnings at the end of 2006. There is an increasing need by countries to educate their young in countries such as Australia and there is a definite move by Western Australian government schools to join this global market, and in turn to not only educate these students, but to better meet the broad educational needs of ‘local’ students.
- Learning about China
- In late November 2007 two Year 8 Asian Culture and Studies classes were involved in a project sponsored by Access Asia and involving Chinese exchange student, Yuan, and two special guests from Jinan, China.
- Singaporean Visitors
- November 30th saw the influx of 11 boys, accompanied with two teachers from Northbrooks Senior High School, Singapore.
- International Students
- We have recently been accredited International School status which will mean we are enrolling international fee paying students (CRICOS 01723A). Our sister school/city with Jinan, China, will mean that we are particularly hoping to enrol students from Jinan in the long term, but we are welcoming students from all around the world to apply for the 15-20 positions we are aiming to fill this year.
- Woodvale SHS Ambassadors to China - Exclusive Offer to Year 10/11 students.
- We are calling for expressions of interest for approximately fourteen Year 10/11 students to be part of the 2009 delegation to travel to China to represent the school and Australia.
