This years boys football team qualified for the grand final, and played at Subiaco oval prior to the Eagles/St Kilda game on the 24th of June. While losing the match by a scant margin, the runner-up status in this challenging competition is a major acheivement for Woodvale's football program.

The school is grateful to Mr Jaggard who coached the boys through the season, and is proud of the performance of the team in both sportsmanship and quality of play. The players should be proud of their accomplishment, and it will hopefully be a source of many fond memories in the years to come.
