In Term 2 2011 the PASH program was introduced to a class of Year 10 Health Education Students. This program “Promoting Adolescent Sexual Health” in the new millennium and was introduced to teenagers initially by Family Planning of WA, funded by Healthway and in consultation with people young and old throughout the state to find out more about the sexual health issues facing youth in WA today.
The program runs for 6 weeks and introduces topics to the students relevant to their sexual health and wellbeing. The program has been well received with students gaining skills in health issues and more informed choices.
