Applications for Year 7 in 2026 Now Open!

Woodvale is proud to announce a new elite program in the Northern corridor – The Woodvale Athletics Academy.

This program is for students who wish to extend their knowledge and skills in the disciplines of track and field. The College will provide elite level teaching and learning that will enable each student to improve in a range of track and field disciplines.

Not only will Academy students engage in bi-weekly training, they will be offered opportunities to be assisted by expert coaches, to develop their strength and conditioning, be involved in officiating programs and be guided by presentations from current successful athletes.

The Woodvale Athletic Academy student develops: 

• Develop individual skills
• Develop skills in coaching and statistical analysis
• Conduct athletic related fitness testing and develop programs to improve individual fitness levels
• Provide coaching courses
• Analyse individual skill performance
• Understand the physiological and skill requirement for athletics at an elite level
• Undertake Sports Medicine Australia training programs including first aid and injury prevention and management
• Provide information relating to diet and nutrition

Applications for our Year 7 in 2026 Athletics Academy Program are now open.

Please note you will only receive correspondence from the College if your application has been reviewed.

Postal applications will only be accepted if applicant resides outside of the Perth Metropolitan area in which case certified copies of proof of residency must be submitted.
