Ryan H, Year 8
Over the past two years, Ms Hedley has helped me significantly to improve as a basketball player and an aspiring athlete. In the program, we are exposed to a variety of drills, guest coaches and tournaments, which strongly assists with our growth. I am excited to work with the basketball specialist teachers, high performance coaches and trainers to continue to develop my skills. I look forward to the opportunities they provide over the next few years in pursuing excellence at an elite level.

The Woodvale music program has enriched the overall school experience for my kids. Excellent musical tuition is delivered by motivated and enthusiastic teaching staff, alongside regular opportunities to engage in workshops, performances, camps and tours at all levels throughout the program. The program has pushed my kids to give their best in all of their schooling as it has fostered organisation and a sense of belonging and achievement. The program structure promotes independence and resilience, the students take ownership of their participation and their achievement. The friendships my kids have formed within the program have contributed to a really positive high school experience.

I thoroughly enjoy the Music Program here at Woodvale Secondary College because of the ongoing support and kindness shown by the teachers. I enjoy learning new aspects of music and look forward to all my classes. I love going to band every week and learning to work together and make our own music.
